The garden in May

Sunday May 16th

These photographs were taken on sunday at the Paul Smith Riverside Family Tea Party. Why no pictures of the mothers and fathers? I can't find them! Sunday was family party day when the lunch family party and the dinner family party happened to join together for a time. The children involved all played together leaving the grown ups to enjoy themselves.

johansens meeting Derbyshire

Pascal and I went off to Derbyshire to Johansens's marketing meeting to learn about their new web site www.condenastjohansens.com and face book and twitter and blog. The Peak district is sensationally beautiful but cold and cloudy. We enjoyed meeting friends in the business and plan to start a Langar Hall Twitter and Face book. Not to be confused with my personal face book where I seem to get endless photographs of young staff misbehaving. We shall add a link to the new web site soon, meantime give it a click.

Ian Buxton doing the flowers

Ian just returned from winning a gold medal in the Canada in Bloom Olympic flower arranging contest. I bet you did not know there are Flower Olympics. Ian won the gold for England a couple of years ago in Japan. Actually I am not so keen on his winning pieces so he does beautiful county arrangements when he comes to Langar
