Jersey C.I.

Jersey is a Gem. I stayed there last weekend. Perfect weather, favorite old friends, amazing garden, and 5 star hospitality. Country lanes overhung with trees and best of all The Orchid Centre. A taste of Paradise. It is hardly an hour away from East Midlands Airport which is half a hour from Langar. I am looking forward to my next visit, if I am invited.

Jude & Lloyd Le Blanc's sculpture garden

I spent a glorious afternoon wandering around this sculpture garden near Melton Mowbray. You will find their work displayed at Le Manoir Quatre Saisons where Raymond Blanc is fan and friend of theirs but no relation.

Shaun and her daughter July 2010

Shaun, the sheep who spent her days in the garden has come back with her daughter. Now we have two protected species. I wonder how long sheep live and how many daughters of daughters we shall end up with.

Our first Jewish wedding

A lovely day. A very moving ceremony in the garden. The Rabbi flew in from USA. Beautiful bride, sharp suited groom, creamy dream cake, sweet children, lovely family, friends, flowers and food.

Flying Things

Besieged by Bentleys

I love to see the beautiful cars draw up. Bentleys have a parking space, unmarked but known to the Bentley Boys. Ferraris and Maseratis and other rare beauties park the other side of the entrance door! Bring your loved one along and meet other fanatics. Go on boys you know you love your cars and I love them too!
