Woolsthorpe Manor. Birthplace & home of Isaac Newton.

Just half an hour from Langar is this National Trust property. A 17th century farm house where Isaac Newton was born and brought up. The apple tree is still there and the house gives the impression of how life was for him on the farm. He did not like looking after the sheep. This modest place is an inspiration and I hope you will find time to visit it when you stay at Langar Hall.

Flowers in June

On the Glorious First of June the flowers in the garden look stunningly beautiful. Now the rain has come to the poor peonies are hanging their heads but no doubt they needed the rain.
