At the end of an avenue of lime trees you will find the other World of Langar Hall. This unique country house hotel and restuarant in the Vale of Belvoir is just 12 miles from the city of Nottingham. Langar Hall is a true original - stubbornly English, deliciously stylish and quietly eccentric.

Doddington Hall near Lincoln
Doddington Hall is 'a must' when visiting Langar Hall. It is the most inspiring Historic House open to the public, beautifully run, alive and welcoming. The garden is uniquely lovely throughout the year, then there is the new prise winning farm shop, (Like Fortnum & Mason) busy cafe, good service and now a big India Jane shop full of amazing furnishings, china and art. I spent a memorable afternoon there yesterday. Lincoln Cathedral is just up the road and Southwell Minster on the way back to Langar makes a really special day out if you have the time and energy for all three.

Imogen's Book for sale on e-bay
Fame at last! I was quite overwhelmed when I found you can buy my book on e-bay costs from 99p - £29 or $80. Where did they all come from? You can buy a personally signed copy when you come to Langar for £10 cash. I have been "not writing" the next "Reciepe & Remeniscenses", since 2008. Perhaps I'll focus on it later this year??
