The nicest thing about running a hotel and restaurant is all the interesting people you meet. This afternoon a group of charming enthusiastic appreciative American travel journalists checked in after a morning at Rufford Park learning archery with long bows. They were in Nottingham to write about the new Robin Hood film to be shown May 14th. Where did Russel Crowe stay when he was filming? I never heard about any filming round here!! That's the not so good thing about the hotel and restaurant business.....we never get out and don't know what is going on!

I believe that most of the outdoor filming was done over two days in Dovedale in the Peak District, with Russell Crowe and his fellow actors staying in nearby hotels.
