Langar Hall Lenton Lane Sikh Temple

Langar is a Sanskrit word for a place where pilgrims receive food and accommodation.
In the 9th Century Langar was a place of pilgrimage and in the 21st century, I am proud of our association with Guru teg Bahadur Sikh Gurdwara, Lenton,  Nottingham. Narinder Singh and his friends called in, late at night, after the ceremony in London to tell me about their success and show me photographs of Andrew Lloyd Webber presenting them with the coveted English Heritage Angel Award for the best rescue or repair of a place of worship.
